Entry into the National Junior Honor Society is a great honor. It shows that you have the lead, citizenship, service and character skills to represent your school. You are entitled to become a NJHS member in the eighth grade, but what you need to know is that the preparation does not just start at the beginning of the eighth grade. It really starts at the beginning of middle school, but you just do not know. Your notes and attitude towards others from the beginning of your average school career will be considered. One thing that most middle school students do not know is that it is not only based on grades. In order to get in NJHS, they have to be voluntarily led to lead leadership expertise and maintain a 3.5 GPA. You also need to know what you would make a great NJHS member.

In your application, there is room for you to list your volunteer opportunities you have done. You also have to list the hours that you are voluntarily present there, and you need a signature of someone who supervises your volunteer work or a parent that she has drifted there. This place can be a nursing home or even planting trees. Local public libraries also have some fun volunteers in the summer in which they can sign books, sign children for a summer reading program and do funny art and crafts! For example, you can play field hockey and football for your school while involved in your church choir and have done 2 summer camps in the previous summer. This helps you to check another box from your list, you just have to think ahead!
